Adobe have made a “release candidate” for Lightroom 3.2 available*. Among other minor improvements and bug fixes, this adds support for the RAw files from the NEX-3 and NEX-5. This is great news for Lightroom users as it means you can now avail of RAW quality, LR3 noise-reduction and your normal processing workflow for your NEX photos too.
Based on the availability of this RC, I’d expect the full release within a month.
* Caution: this is not a final release of Lightroom 3.2, but a release candidate. It may contain bugs and you would be wise to backup you Lightroom catalog and images before using it.
